Liz offers comprehensive women’s health physiotherapy services, starting with a thorough assessment to create a personalised treatment plan. Based in Winchester, she sees clients for in-person sessions at New Energy Fitness, but can provide virtual assessments for added convenience. Follow-up appointments can be arranged in person or online, allowing flexibility based on your needs. Treatment is based on current evidence based practice- this is likely to involve pelvic floor rehabilitation such as core strengthening, muscle release, advice and education. Liz likes to use manual therapy and complementary therapies such as Scar work and Barral visceral manipulation offering a truly holistic experience.

  • Liz will ask you to fill in some background info via a form when you book online to save time on the day

  • 55 minute face to face assessment with Liz

  • Discussion of your concerns & goals

  • Thorough holistic assessment, this may include internal assessment (but only with your consent) as well as alignment and movement and function

  • Hands on assessment & treatment

  • Exercise and advice tailored to you

    Prepare for your physiotherapy session: A vest top and leggings or shorts are perfect to be able to see how you move but don’t worry if you don’t have them. You are very welcome to bring a chaperone if you would like.

£65 follow up sessions (45mins)

What is women’s health physiotherapy?

Women’s Health Physiotherapy is a specific area of physiotherapy that addresses health concerns specific to women, particularly related to the pelvic floor, reproductive health, pregnancy, the postnatal period, perimenopause and menopause.
