Specialised Pilates classes to help you feel revitalised

Liz’s Pilates classes are all designed to make you feel good without exhausting you. If your body is in need of TLC, taking up Pilates can help you feel a little bit more energised and rebalanced (as well as giving you the opportunity for a little ‘me time’). Liz can help you build core strength to alleviate aches and pains, tone your pelvic floor, reduce areas of tension and enable relaxation to generate an overall sense of wellbeing.

 

Pilates classes via Zoom

Pilates classes with likeminded women. With limited numbers to allow for supervision this class is aimed at helping you strengthen and lengthen throughout your body.

  • Increase awareness of your pelvic floor and core muscles

  • Pelvic floor safe, general strengthening

  • Improve alignment to help relieve back pain and pelvic pain

  • Aid relaxation and promote a sense of wellbeing

Preparing for your class

Please wear comfortable, loose clothing. Most people have bare feet for Pilates but if you'd rather wear socks, please make sure they're not slippy.

ZOOM: You’ll need to download Zoom on your laptop, iPad or iPhone. When you book you’ll receive an invite to join the session.

EXERCISING SAFELY AT HOME: Please make sure you have adequate private space & have a mat and small pillow to support you. Remember this is YOUR time, and much as you like your husband others might not want them joining our class! I always advise working pain free and moving gently into the exercises, talk to me, I can still how you’re doing.

PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

When using Zoom other people in the class can see your screen and the name of the device you’re on. You should check you have adequate anti-spyware and anti-virus protection on your device, a mobile phone is only as secure as any other phone call on that network. As with live classes I will record your attendance (on paper) but I will not record the sessions.

 

COST

£10 per session in half termly block

(Sessions are recorded and may be accessed via Vimeo for the duration of the block)
